Get to Know Me

Anne-Marie has worked in the counseling and psychology field for over 25 years. She has worked across a variety of sectors including the NHS (HIV and sexual health), the charitable sector (young people aged 12-25) and privately. As a counselling psychologist she has been trained in a range of therapeutic approaches including humanistic, psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. Over the past decade she has provided mindfulness interventions to individuals and in groups.

Anne-Marie has extensive experience working with clients who are troubled by a range of difficulties including depression and different anxiety problems such as obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and complex trauma, health anxiety and panic. 

Anne-Marie works sensitively and respectively with all ethnicities, cultures, and sexualities. Her approach centralizes the reciprocal interaction between a client and herself to enable emotional and psychological healing.
